Gran Color Scheme

1996 15.3 Chestnut Tobiano
CF Hit The Spot x Gran Legacy
Bay tobiano Saddlebred Chestnut Crabbet Arabian
Reg. Half Arabian and Pinto

This wonderful stallion’s show record was accomplished while trained and shown exclusively by his amateur owner. I believe this speaks volumes for his temperament and personality.

His many awards include Pinto National Horse of the Year, Open and Amateur. Regional Area Championships, New Jersey Pinto Year End Champions in Pleasure Type Halter, Amateur Stallions, and Tobiano Color. He earned Register of Merits and Registers of Excellence in Halter, Amateur Halter, and Tobiano Color from the Pinto Registry. 2003 brought our proudest moment when he was named Pinto Word Show Reserve Champion Pleasure Stallion In Tulsa,OK

A proven sire in Halter, Sport Horse, and Performance he adds substance, beauty, movement, and temperament. Bred to mares of Egyptian, Polish, and domestic lines he has improved them all plus the bonus of color.

Gran Color Scheme As a Sire

Gran Color Scheme has sired Champions in Halter, Sport Horse, Performance.

Futurity winners include Karmel Splash, Knight Schemes, AF Mystic Thunder, AF Sierra Wildfire, SDM Patriot Schemes.

These horses are out of a variety of bloodlines, including mares of Straight Egyptian, Pure Polish, and Domestic breeding. He has consistently improved on the mares adding size, straight legs with good bone, length of neck, strong backs, trainability, good work ethic, and personality.
All this with the added bonus of color.

Karmel Splash a 2001 chestnut tobiano mare is his most successful offspring in the show ring. She has been Year End Champion on the Eastern Amateur Arabian Horse Show Circuit (EAAHSC) as a weanling, yearling, 2 yr. old and Reserve at 3yrs old. She has also excelled as a Sport Horse in Hand and under saddle. She is also a winner under Hunter and Western Pleasure. “Splash” has also won or placed well in the Eastern Futurity, Blue Ridge Arabian Horse Futurity, and the EAAHSC Futurity. She has done equally well on the A rated Arabian circuit.

Knight Schemes a 2002 chestnut gelding is also a EAAHSC Year End Champion as a weanling, yearling, and 2yr old. “William” has the size of his sire but not the pinto color, he does have a flaxen mane and tail. Sold as a 2yr. old “William” is now a trail horse, at just 3 yrs. old he safely carries his new owner through all kinds of obstacles, even overnight camping. At the Eastern Futurity in 2005 “William” won his Halter class, and was 4th in the Hunter under Saddle class, he was the highest placing 3yr old in a combined class of 3yr and 4yr olds. This was accomplished with little show ring training and ridden by an amateur. He also won his EAAHSC Futurity classes, Halter and Hunter under Saddle.

Karmel Splash and Knight Schemes are both out of the Straight Egyptian mare Kamrah by El Shalyar an Arabian National Futurity Top Ten Stallion. Owned by Joyce Edwards Kamrah is back in foal for a 2006 foal which will be offered for sale.

AF Mystic Thunder a 2000 chestnut gelding and AF Sierra Wildfire a 2002 chestnut tobiano mare are out of the bay Arabian mare David’s Flame who is a Khemosabi granddaughter. With limited showing both of these horse are also EAAHSC Futurity winners. “Thunder” has the size and bone of his sire and is now training as a jousting horse. “Sierra” is exceptionally typey and has a 50/50 color pattern, and hopes to follow in her brother’s footsteps as a jousting horse.
Flame’s Fancy Dancer a 2004 bay filly also out of David’s Flame is unshown to date but like her sister is typey and shows good size. “Dancer” has been sold to a family in Texas

SDM Patriot Schemes a 2003 bay tobiano is out of the Pure Polish bay mare Miss Missle sired by the Hall of Fame Arabian Triple Crown winner Patriot Missle.
“Tyler” is a EAAHSC Futurity winner and show winner including a Champion Gelding win. “Tyler” has 4 high white stockings and a stripe on his face, with bow ties on each side of his neck and shoulder with spots on top his rump. “Tyler”also won EAAHSC Year End honors. “Tyler” and “William” won the EAAHSC Futurity Get of Sire class over Purebreds in 2004, “William” and “Splash” won it in 2005 also over Purebreds. “Tyler” has been sold to a family in New Jersey.

Gran Color Scheme also sired 2 colts out of Khemo Fertz a chestnut roan with lines to Khemosabi. One colt was a 75% white medicine hat and the other was a solid chestnut with tremendous substance and size. Unfortunately both colts died before they could be shown from unrelated circumstances
